Job Title: Graphic Designer

Job Description: 

Develop visually engaging graphic and production design for digital and print applications. These include live productions, presentations, social media, websites, ads, emails, and print materials for church Sunday services, sermon series, events, and announcements. Combine art and technology to communicate ideas, using current design software and tools to produce high-quality designs. Telecommuting permitted up to 50% from within normal commuting distance.

Job Requirements:

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• One year of experience in graphic design including experience in:
• Graphic and visual design for social media, websites, ads, emails, and print materials, ensuring brand consistency and compatibility with Windows, Android, MacOS, and iOS operating systems;
• Utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software;
• Utilizing Figma or Canva applications;
• Social media content design and marketing using WordPress;
• Developing live production or visual presentations using PowerPoint or ProPresenter software;
• Graphic design of print documents, including flyers, posters, and banners;
• Collaborating with marketing, leadership, and other stakeholders using collaborative CRM/PM software including Trello and Google Workspace; and
• Copyright compliance.

Alternate Requirements:

In lieu of a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Graphic Design or a related field plus one year of experience in graphic design, employer will accept three years of experience in graphic design including experience in:

• Graphic and visual design for social media, websites, ads, emails, and print materials, ensuring brand consistency and compatibility with Windows, Android, MacOS, and iOS operating systems;
• Utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software;
• Utilizing Figma or Canva applications;
• Social media content design and marketing using WordPress;
• Developing live production or visual presentations using PowerPoint or ProPresenter software;
• Graphic design of print documents, including flyers, posters, and banners;
• Collaborating with marketing, leadership, and other stakeholders using collaborative CRM/PM software including Trello and Google Workspace; and
• Copyright compliance.

Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Position at City on a Hill Churchin Federal Way, WA. Telecommuting permitted up to 50% from within normal commuting distance

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
