What to expect.

  • The Grants Manager supports the full lifecycle of grant development and submission, from opportunity identification through post-award coordination.
  • This role also contributes to office operations by maintaining grant-related systems, tracking funding opportunities, and ensuring accurate, timely communication across teams.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Evaluate grant opportunities by coordinating internal review processes, identifying stakeholders and gathering feedback, and presenting recommendations to leadership. 
  • Serve as lead for capital grants.
  • Track forecasted funding opportunities for public grants.
  • Assist with scheduling grant launch and grant development meetings.
  • Maintain and update grant development dashboards and status reports.
  • Compile and organize materials required for the grant application process.
  • Review grant documents from program and finance teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Assist with drafting program overviews, updating standard boilerplate language, and crafting budget narratives.
  • Prepare, assemble, and submit grant packages in accordance with funder requirements.
  • Develop and maintain master files within Sharepoint and grants management software (pre and post award).
  • Communicate updates on grant status, budgets, and awards to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of standard grant attachments and resources.
  • Manage and update access credentials for grant submission portals.
  • Prepare documents for post-award management and support scheduling regular check-ins with grant leads.
  • Maintain master calendar of grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and key milestones.
  • Coordinate grant close-out and debrief meetings.
  • Prepare standard and custom reports from grants management software.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the OSP team, including meeting coordination and communications.

The pay range for this position is $54,074.18 minimum to $83,510.75 maximum.  Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Experience with public or private grants in a community behavioral health organization is strongly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of local, state, and federal funding sources and the ability to locate potential sources for funding preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient with learning and using a wide variety of software and online systems (Microsoft Office Suite, grants management etc.)
  • Extremely organized and meticulous with details.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all communications and documentation.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize work and resources.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
