The Grant Writer is a part-time, non-exempt role reporting to the Director of Development, responsible for managing a portfolio of foundation, corporate, and public funders through research, writing, and submitting grant proposals.
Key duties include crafting compelling proposals and letters of inquiry, collaborating with leadership and operations teams to align funding with organizational goals, managing grant budgets and deliverables, and maintaining accurate records in fundraising platforms.
The role requires strong communication, organization, and project management skills, with experience in grant management and reporting preferred. The Grant Writer will also support database management, contribute to fundraising strategy, and assist with other development activities as needed.
Physical demands involve sedentary work, occasional movement, and travel to club sites. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
