The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a full-time position for Grant Administrator/Office Manager assigned to the Illinois State Police Central Illinois Drug Enforcement Group.
Responsibilities
Computer Entries; Respond to subpoenas and communicate with State's Attorneys in all counties; Monitor all things corresponding to asset forfeiture cases; Assist CIEG Director in the creation of the Annual Report; Perform duties of the Illinois State Police Inventory Property Custodian; Collect time sheets and other documentation from participating CIEG agencies; Compute statistical data reports or financial reports; process payment of bills; Maintain and complete financial reporting for all of CIEG's bank accounts.
Requirements
High School graduate or GED; multi-line phone, and other standard office equipment; typing, great communication and organizational skills. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must pass a criminal background check.

Financial/accounting experience; Strong organizational and administrative skills; Advanced Excel and reporting abilities; Grant management/reporting experience; Ability to handle confidential law enforcement records with extreme accuracy and professionalism
Benefits
Salary range of $41,604-$62406 annually; health, dental, and life insurance; pension plan; deferred compensation option; paid vacation, sick and personal time.
Position will be assigned to, and report to, Illinois State Police Headquarters, 801 South 7th Street, Springfield, Illinois.

Hours of duty are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by the Illinois State Police.
