PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Grand Lodge Housekeeping Supervisor supports the daily operations of the housekeeping department while helping lead and develop a high-performing seasonal team that delivers the Deer Valley Difference through exceptional cleanliness, attention to detail, and guest service. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining luxury condominium and residence standards for guests and homeowners while supporting a positive, efficient, and service-focused work environment.
This position assists with departmental oversight in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager and requires a leader who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing team supervision with daily operational responsibilities. During periods of lower occupancy, this role may support other Deer Valley managed lodging properties based on business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership & Operations
Support the Housekeeping Manager with training, coaching, scheduling, and supervising housekeeping staff
Lead by example and help maintain a positive, professional, and service-focused team culture
Assist with daily operations, work assignments, and departmental coverage
Provide operational oversight in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager
Quality Assurance & Guest Experience
Inspect residences, condominiums, and common areas to ensure Deer Valley cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met
Communicate corrective action and coach team members on housekeeping standards and safety practices
Respond professionally to guest and homeowner concerns related to housekeeping services
Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and repair needs in a timely manner
Hands-On Operational Support
Perform daily housekeeping duties including stayover service, departure cleans, deep cleaning, and public area cleaning as needed
Stock residences and condominiums according to department standards
Complete inspections, work orders, inventory tracking, and operational reports accurately and timely
Support operational needs at other Deer Valley lodging properties when required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous housekeeping leadership, supervisory, or lead experience in a hotel, resort, condominium, or property management environment preferred
Luxury hospitality or resort lodging experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to uphold high cleanliness and presentation standards
Proven ability to lead by example and work effectively within a team environment
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
