Must be in good academic standing
Hold a bachelor's degree or higher appropriate to the area of service
Be registered full-time for the respective semester - nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.

Duties include, but are not limited to, providing feedback and/or grading student work; monitoring/proctoring course activities; leading laboratory sessions, discussion sessions, or recitation labs; providing office hours assistance to students; and performing clerical tasks associated with course instruction. Additional details provided by Department.
General classroom management. Assist instructor with both online and traditional face to face classes. Meet regularly with instructor and provide office hours for students. Maintain attendance records, grading assignments and exams. Other duties or tasks as assigned by instructor. Willing to work at either campus assigned based on School needs.

Preferred Qualifications
The Graduate Teaching Assistant position is available to full-time graduate students, preferably those enrolled in the MSSW program. Graduate Teaching Assistants will be assigned to specific faculty and their responsibilities with vary with the needs of the faculty with whom they work.
