Must be in good academic standing
Hold a bachelor's degree or higher appropriate to the area of service
Be registered full-time for the respective semester - nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.

General classroom management. Assist instructor with both online and traditional face to face classes. Must attend sessions and fulfill assignments made by instructor.
Meet regularly with instructor and provide office hours for students. Maintain attendance records, grading assignments and exams. Other duties or tasks as assigned by instructor.
Willing to work at either campus assigned based on department needs.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

Ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
Obtain effective communication skills for interacting with prospective students.
Must possess superior writing and editing skills.
Reliable to work at Edinburg or Brownsville campus to support traditional face to face classes.
Preferred Qualifications
Full Time Graduate Student with GPA of 3.0 or above.
Applicants with at least a minor in undergraduate history may apply.
Students pursuing a MA in History or MAIS in History will be given priority.
