Under the direction of the Manager, Scholarship Programs, the Graduate Project Assistant will assist with
qualitative and quantitative research to support the Scholarship Office. This position will work to optimize scholarship awards for improved retention and completion of impacted students. This position will be responsible for outreach to students, processing scholarship applications, communicating with students regarding their needs and statuses, and maintaining updated scholarship recipient databases.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirement, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field with one (1) year of experience with applied statistics and research including qualitative and quantitative data.
Preferred Education & Experience: Pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Psychology, Public Health or Statistics with two (2) or more years of experience with applied statistics and research including both qualitative and quantitative data.

Start Date
This position supports the Enrollment and Retention Department and is available to start as soon as possible.
Hours
This is a part-time position working up to 19 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Specific work hours are flexible. This position is located in-person at the Downtown Milwaukee campus. This is a grant-funded, limited-term (LTE) position with an effective end date of June 30, 2028.
Salary
Salary is listed to the midpoint of the salary range and is determined by years of experience and internal salary equity.
