Graduate Civil Engineer, EI - Water & Wastewater Utilities – Tavares, FL
Halff Is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer for our Water & Wastewater Utilities team in our Tavares, FL office. The position will be for a General Civil Engineer interested in Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process design and construction. What you will do:
- Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer Support Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process, design, and construction
- Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water & Wastewater projects Perform drafting CAD work
- Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
What you will need:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Water & Wastewater Utility projects and Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Design
- Passed the FE exam
- Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferred
- Desired experience with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWater
- Great communication skills
- Solid relationship and team building skills
- Self-motivated and strong organization skills
