This Graduate Assistant position supports the Student Activities Council by assisting with planning, implementing, and promoting student events and programs.
Responsibilities include coordinating SAC activities, recruiting and training executive members, managing campus logistics, overseeing promotional efforts, maintaining social media and websites, serving as a resource for students, and evaluating event outcomes.
The role reports to the Student Connection and Engagement Coordinator and requires full-time graduate enrollment, strong organizational and communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license.
Preferred candidates are pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Higher Education or related fields and have experience in event planning and advising students.
The position involves approximately 19 hours per week during the academic year, with some evenings and weekends, and offers a salary based on experience. Applicants must submit a resume, cover letter, and three references.
