Graduate Assistant - Sports Information
The Sports Information Graduate Assistant is a part-time ten-month position which runs from August 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027. Approximately 20 - 25 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the management and promotion of the social media sites for the department following Hilbert Colleges social media protocols and the NCAA compliance policies. • Coordinate and serve as a point of contact for live-streaming services. • Work closely with the CMS software programs for website maintenance, page creation, and historical preservation of statistics. • Assist with writing, editing, and tracking all internal and external athletic media releases and postgame recaps. • Coordinate and assist with data entry for in-game statistics. • Assist with historical updates on each program at the conclusion of their season. • Communicate with coaches and athletic staff members in a professional manner. • Ability to work night and weekend hours. • Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Working knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, plus basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Understand and utilize PrestoSports and the NCAA Genius software programs. Ability to work independently, pay attention to detail, and work under pressure of deadlines. Past experience in collegiate competition as a participant or support staff. Earned a bachelors degree from an accredited institution by June 1st, 2026. Enrolled in a graduate degree program by August 1, 2026. Undergraduate degree in Sports Management, Digital Media Arts, or closely related area of study.
