Rate: Stipend, up to $7200.00 based on the start date of assigned period
Position Summary:
The primary focus of the Graduate will be to assist the Director of Cross Country & Track & Field during season. Also, administrative support (recruiting) and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, training athletes on the track & field team, and assisting the head coach in all aspects of pre-season & post-season training, practice, competition and recruitment.Must be capable of having a flexible practice schedule, monitoring student-athlete academic success, and recruiting strategy for event groups. Also assist the Directorof Track & Field in organizing team events, travel logistics, hosting outdoor invitationals, and team fundraising. Adherence to NCAA Division III rules and regulations, supporting thephilosophy, goal and mission of the college and its intercollegiate athletics program, as well as adherence to departmental, university, NACC, and NCAA policies and procedures is required.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

Other Functions:
Develop relationships within Benedictine University and the University community.
Attend departmental and University related meetings and events.
Maintain a positive student athlete assessment for program from student athletes.
Work in coordination with University offices and departments to coordinate and facilitate University events.
Maintain positive relationships with alumni, parents, students, officials, volunteers and fans.
Serve on University, conference and national committees as needed.
Positively promote Benedictine University and the Department of Athletics on campus and in the community.
