Description

The Grading Superintendent - NCDOT Projects - Raleigh will:

  • Lead on-site operations for heavy highway, sitework projects, including grading, earthmoving, utilities, and roadways
  • Supervise field crews and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to meet milestones and deadlines
  • Ensure safety compliance and conduct regular site safety meetings
  • Conduct quality inspections to meet specifications and regulatory standards
  • Manage project costs and resources to stay within budget
  • Maintain daily reports and project documentation
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders

Profile

The Grading Superintendent - NCDOT Projects - Raleigh should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience in construction estimating.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using construction estimating software and other relevant tools.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build interpersonal relationships.
