Description: The Grosse Pointe Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
• 5th and 6th Grade Honors Band Director • 5th and 6th Grade Honors Band Assistant • 5th Grade Honors Orchestra Director • 5th Grade Honors Orchestra Assistant • 7th and 8th Grade Honors Band Director • 7th and 8th Grade Honors Band Assistant • 6th - 8th Grade Honors Orchestra Director • 6th - 8th Grade Honors Orchestra Assistant • High School Honors Band Director • High School Honors Band Assistant • High School Honors Orchestra Director • High School Honors Orchestra Assistant
Qualifications:
Strong background in instrumental music Knowledge of quality band and/or orchestral repertoire for upper elementary school Committed to rehearsals once a week after school or evening for 1 - 1 1/2 hours (for 8-14 weeks) Committed to arranging rehearsal schedule and communicating with students and parents
Working Conditions:
Compensation is in accordance with the Master Agreement, Appendix E, Class I EPED: $988.00. Two people may share the above positions. If a position is shared, the stipend will be split between the two people.
