Our Team, Your Impact

The GPO Account Representative supports inside sales for ANDA's Segment Partners, assisting Key Account Managers in achieving growth. This role involves cross-functional and external communication via phone and Teams, with a focus on driving AOP, program success, and market share within the GPO relationship. Using consultative selling and relationship-building, the GPO Account Representative will grow existing accounts and pursue new business opportunities.

How You'll Spend Your Day

  • New Business Development: Drive inbound/outbound sales with a focus on acquiring new customers.
  • Account Management: Process orders, maintain records, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Territory Oversight: Manage assigned segments, potentially overlapping with other teams.
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed individual/team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Consultative Selling: Deliver tailored solutions based on customer segment needs. Customer centric approach with demonstrated use of Voice of Customer (VOC) to understand customer/market needs, while ensuring company revenue targets attained.
  • Leverage the Program Value: Analyze and act on customer program metrics to drive growth.
  • Opportunity Identification: Spot growth opportunities within customer models. Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape and utilize to secure growth within your assigned group.
  • Data Utilization: Leverage analytics tools to inform sales strategies.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and legal standards.
  • E-commerce Advocacy: Promote and enhance digital sales channels.
  • Team Collaboration: Support Key Account Managers in meeting productivity goals by strengthening and growing existing program partnerships.
  • Project Execution: Deliver results on assigned campaigns with minimal supervision.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • High School Diploma Required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales, account, and/or general management
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in and knowledge of various distribution and selling channels.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Proficient in internal systems such as Salesforce (CMR), and Tableau
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving and issue resolution capabilities.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical distribution in both the primary and secondary markets.
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing industry environment.
  • Ability to negotiate, collaborate and influence skills, both internal and externally.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Strong business acumen with a general understanding of financials, products/services, and market dynamics

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum travel as required by the organization.

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $73,000 - $92,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
