Kratos is seeking a Government Contracts Manager whose position includes but is not limited to:

• Serving as the point of contact for all assigned procurement matters during all phases of requisition and purchase order formation and administration to include legal requirements, terms, customer specifications, and government regulations rn
• Responsible for management and administration of purchase orders and subcontracts and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as FAR and DFAR (and other) applicable laws and regulations rn
• Evaluating purchase orders for conformance with company policies, practices, and standards to meet business objectives and to ensure compliance with customer specifications and government regulations rn
• Reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions, quotes, modifications, and other types of agreements rn
• Providing active, creative, and business oriented solutions as part of reviewing quotes, statement of works, schedules, and deliverables rn
• Reviewing and analyzing Purchase Requests for thoroughness and compliancy rn
• Processing PRs, purchase change orders, subcontracts, and RFQs to suppliers rn
• Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity rn
• Participating in vendor review and processing and utilizing different systems to ensure proper checks and balances have been initiated before onboarding of a vendor rn
• Developing new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive rn
• Interacting closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues rn
• Work with management to address all aspects of procurement support and product availability rn
• Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. rn

• Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements. rn
• Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. rn
• Work problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. rn
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. rn
• Build productive internal/external working relationships. rn
• Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. rn
