Government Reimbursement Analyst

Responsibilities: Prepare and support Medicare / Medicaid / Tricare cost report fillings, including schedules and documentation. Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.

Overview:

We are looking for a Government Reimbursement Analyst for our Healthcare client on a project basis. This role is onsite in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and support Medicare / Medicaid / Tricare cost report fillings, including schedules and documentation
• Assist with audits, surveys, and appeals by compiling workpapers and responding to requests
• Analyze MAC ( Medicare Administrative Contractor) communications and reimbursement rates for accuracy / compliance. 
• Support monthly reserve calculations and ensure receipt of third-party payments and adjustments
• Review Medicare bad debt and disproportionate share (DHS) logs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields 
• 5+ years of relevant Government Reimbursement experience  
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
