We are currently seeking a Governance & Compliance Consultant for a prominent client of ours. This position is fully remote (EST preferred). Details for the position are as follows:
 
Job Description:

  • Pay: $50 – 56/hr (W2)
  • 1-year assignment with potential for extension and possible conversion based on performance and headcount approval.
  • You will be supporting a newly formed global governance operations team focused on operationalizing third-party governance policies and standards
  • This is NOT a hands-on Third-Party Risk Analyst role; the focus is much more heavily centered on governance operations, documentation management, and process coordination
  • Primary responsibilities include managing SOPs, governance repositories, version control, audit evidence, workflows, process documentation, and operational governance artifacts
  • Create organize and maintain policies, SOPs, RACIs, workflows, playbooks, executive summaries, and governance documentation to support scalable operational processes
  • Evaluate current-state processes, identify documentation gaps/discrepancies, and helps standardize operational governance procedures across teams
  • Tools primarily include MS Office Suite, document repositories, workflow platforms, and some AI tools
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in governance operations, compliance, audit support, process coordination, documentation management, or related environments
  • Consulting-style backgrounds strongly preferred
  • Strong experience with SOP management, governance documentation, repositories, version control, and audit-ready documentation
  • Experience supporting governance, compliance, ESG, cyber GRC, audit, procurement, or operational risk environments preferred
  • High-level understanding of procurement, supply chain, compliance, or organizational governance processes is helpful but not required
  • Strong written communication, documentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills required
  • Ability to thrive in agile, ambiguous, and evolving environments
