Your Responsibilities Responsible for the watering of lawns and shrubs. Digs trenches for irrigation repair work. Assist in keeping the job site tidy, organized, and safe. Use all installation tools according to company safety policy. Maintains, cleans, and properly stores equipment. Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment. Other duties as required. Additional Duties Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards. Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct. Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines. Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work. Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management. Perform any range of special projects tasks and other related duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience preferred. Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs following appropriate safety procedures. Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time. Be able to work in various positions including but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time. Ability to work in different environmental working conditions e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity. Be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers. Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
