Foster Golf Links is actively seeking a seasonal, part-time Golf Cart Assistant to join the Foster Golf Links team during our busy season. This is an entry-level position and is responsible for performing several aspects of customer service. Note: These are non-benefited positions working up to 30 hours per week. All positions are limited duration, part-time and will not exceed 1040 hours in a 12-month period.

Foster Golf Links (FGL) is an 18-hole PGA-rated golf course owned and operated by the City of Tukwila and encompasses nearly 77 acres of green space, including a pro shop, restaurant, and banquet space. FGL provides a quality golfing experience for those that live, work, and play in Tukwila.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains duties to wash, clean and put golf carts away at the end of each day.
• Provides for clean and safe operation of power carts.
• May assist with closing and securing of the Pro Shop
• Cleans and vacuums the Pro Shop to ensure a safe work environment.
• May assist in providing customer service to respond to customer inquiries regarding fees, equipment rental, merchandise and related course and pro shop information, in person and on the telephone.
• Rents power carts, clubs, and pull carts to golfers.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• May perform miscellaneous duties as needed.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

(A) Minimum age 18 years old;

(B) Six-months prior experience in a similar work environment, with some continuing education is preferred;

(C) Ability to work with minimum supervision;

(D) Maintains reasonable, predictable and regular attendance during the workweek.

Special Requirements:

Valid Drivers License/I.D.
