Akkodis is seeking a Golang Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Washington, DC (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high‑performance backend systems and microservices.
Rate Range: $44/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Golang Technical Lead Job Responsibilities include:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable backend systems using Golang.
Define technical architecture, conduct design reviews, and guide solution decisions.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and best practices.
Mentor and guide team members while supporting Agile sprint planning and delivery.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure application performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
7-8 years of overall software development experience.
Strong hands‑on expertise in Golang with proven experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
Prior experience in a technical leadership role, mentoring teams and driving architecture and delivery decisions.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
