GMP Documentation Compliance Coordinator

Employer: Our client in North Hollywood, CA (Los Angeles County)

Type: Temp to Hire – Full-Time, On-Site

Reports To: VP of Quality and Regulatory

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm

Pay: $20.00–24.00 per hour

A day in this role

Your shift starts early. By 6:00 AM, you’re signed into the ERP system, preparing the day’s queue of batch, production, and quality records. With a careful eye, you move line by line—confirming dates and initials, spotting strikethroughs that shouldn’t be there, and ensuring every entry follows Good Documentation Practices. A mislabeled lot number? You route it back for correction. A missing signature? You follow up and close the loop before approval.

Mid-morning, you reconcile inventory builds to make sure the system mirrors what’s on the floor. You file, scan, and archive completed packets so they’re immediately retrievable for audits. When an inspection request pops up, you pivot—locating files fast, organizing them cleanly, and flagging trends the Quality team should review. By afternoon, you’re updating logs, improving templates, and collaborating with Production and Inventory to resolve discrepancies. You wrap with everything accurate, legible, and audit-ready for tomorrow.

What you’ll do

  • Review production, batch, and quality documentation for accuracy, completeness, legibility, and adherence to GDP.
  • Identify errors, omissions, or inconsistencies; route records for correction prior to final approval.
  • Verify that entries are properly dated/initialed and free of unauthorized edits or alterations.
  • Support ERP inventory builds and transactions; confirm alignment with physical inventory and supporting paperwork.
  • Maintain organized, accurate filing systems (physical and electronic); scan and archive per retention procedures.
  • Assist with internal audits/inspections by locating, organizing, and preparing requested records.
  • Escalate recurring documentation trends to the Quality team for corrective action.
  • Update and maintain logs, forms, and templates used across quality and inventory workflows.
  • Partner with Production, Inventory, and Quality to resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and integrity of quality records.
  • Perform additional quality systems, inventory, or administrative tasks as assigned.
