Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs according to GM and manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and drivability concerns
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with GM guidelines
- Complete multi-point inspections and recommend necessary repairs
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations with Service Advisors
- Maintain efficiency while producing high-quality workmanship
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction on every repair
Qualifications
- GM Certified Technician required
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Previous dealership service technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
