San Diego, CA, United States

Join our talent community Share Apply

Hologic's Women's Health diagnostics team works at the intersection of science, strategy, and real-world impact. Our focus: bringing innovative diagnostic assays to market that help laboratories and clinicians detect disease earlier and improve care for women everywhere.

As a Global Product Manager, you'll help shape how these products grow and evolve-from identifying market opportunities to supporting product launches and lifecycle strategy. You'll collaborate across R&D, regulatory, commercial, and operations teams to turn customer insights into smart product decisions that drive adoption and long-term portfolio success.

Key Outcomes

  • Support strategic and tactical plans that drive growth across the Women's Health diagnostic assay portfolio
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to guide products through development, launch, and lifecycle management
  • Represent Marketing on cross‑functional product teams and contribute to development and prioritization decisions
  • Translate customer insights and market research into product requirements and positioning strategies
  • Help plan and execute go‑to‑market strategies for new product launches and product updates
  • Monitor sales trends, customer adoption, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Scientific Affairs, and Sales to support successful product initiatives

Do you have what it takes?

This role suits someone who connects the dots between science, customers, and business strategy. You're naturally curious about how diagnostic labs operate and enjoy translating insights into clear product direction. You work well with cross‑functional teams, balancing different perspectives while keeping projects moving forward.

Strong analytical thinking helps you interpret market data and performance trends, while clear communication allows you to influence decisions across teams. If you're comfortable navigating complexity, managing multiple priorities, and advocating for the customer, you'll do well here.

Additional qualifications and information

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or similar roles in diagnostics, life sciences, or medical technology
  • Demonstrated experience supporting product launches, commercialization initiatives, or lifecycle management
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with clinical diagnostic assays, laboratory workflows, or diagnostic instrumentation preferred
  • Location: San Diego, CA (hybrid work model)
  • Travel: Approximately 20-30% for field meetings, internal collaboration, and customer engagement
  • Must hold a valid driver's license

The annualized base salary range for this role is $106,500 to $166,600 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
