    The Opportunity

    We are seeking a Global Product Manager, Downstream IVL to join the Global Strategic Marketing team within our Vascular business, based onsite in Santa Clara, CA.

    This is a fully onsite role.

    Our Vascular business develops innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of coronary and peripheral vascular disease.

    As the Global Product Manager, Downstream IVL, you will be responsible for developing and executing global marketing strategies, leading product commercialization initiatives, and driving customer engagement activities that accelerate adoption and portfolio growth. Working cross-functionally across global and regional teams, you will champion commercialization efforts, develop impactful marketing programs and assets, and leverage customer insights to shape strategies that deliver meaningful business results and improve patient care worldwide.

    What You'll Work On

    1. Develop & Execute Global Strategies, Programs & Campaigns

    • Develop and execute global marketing strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and commercial growth for Abbott's IVL portfolio

    • Define product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and customer segmentation strategies to maximize market penetration and business impact

    • Lead integrated marketing programs and campaigns across digital, field, educational, and promotional channels while partnering with regional teams to address local market needs

    • Leverage customer, market, and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize marketing effectiveness

     

    2. Champion Product Commercialization & Cross-Functional Execution

    • Lead end-to-end commercialization planning and execution for new product introductions, portfolio expansions, and strategic growth initiatives across U.S. and international markets

    • Serve as the marketing expertise across Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and regional teams to drive alignment and execution excellence

    • Develop and manage integrated commercialization plans, ensuring accountability for key milestones, operational readiness, demand forecasting, and launch success

    • Monitor launch performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend actions to accelerate adoption and business growth

     

    3. Drive Customer Insights & Development of Commercial Assets

    • Engage with customers, key opinion leaders, physician consultants, and field teams to gather insights and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and product adoption

    • Translate customer insights into actionable strategies that shape product positioning, commercialization plans, marketing campaigns, and portfolio priorities

    • Lead the development and deployment of customer-facing and internal assets, including sales enablement tools, training materials, digital content, promotional collateral, and launch communications

    • Partner with sales, training, and external agencies to deliver compelling, customer-centric content and programs that support physician education, field readiness, and commercial success

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

    • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field required

    • Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, downstream marketing, strategic marketing, sales, or related healthcare/medical device roles.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA preferred.

    • Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing programs, commercialization initiatives, and product launches in U.S. and/or international markets.

    • Experience in cardiovascular medical devices, intravascular imaging, or calcium modification therapies

    • Experience supporting global product launches and commercialization efforts

    • Knowledge of coronary intervention procedures and customer workflows

    • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups

    • Experience working with international teams and navigating regional market, regulatory, and reimbursement considerations

    • Strong public speaking and field engagement experience

    • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects within a matrixed organization.

    • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and project management skills.

    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

    • Experience developing product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and customer-facing marketing content.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

    • Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

    • Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel.

    The base pay for this position is

    $114,000.00 – $228,000.00

    In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
