In this role, you will be responsible for converting the enterprise strategy for global packaging into measurable results across regions, consolidating suppliers, establishing global specifications, and building Iron Mountain's global packaging standards from the ground up.
You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with a cross-functional global network spanning Operations, Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Quality teams to drive strategic value and supply reliability.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Category Sourcing : Execute end-to-end sourcing for corrugated boxes, packaging consumables, and all transit and storage packaging across multi-site, multi-region networks using disciplined Request for Proposal (RFx) processes.
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Modeling : Quantify comprehensive total cost and cash impacts-including freight, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), and stocking strategies-to protect corporate Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA).
Commercial Negotiation & Contracting : Structure and negotiate Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) featuring clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs), pricing indexation, and long-term performance remedies.
Supplier Performance Management : Govern supplier performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), driving corrective actions and qualifying alternative sources to eliminate single-source risks.
Sustainability Integration : Partner with Sustainability teams to embed recycled/recyclable content, right-sizing, and end-of-life programs directly into global packaging specifications.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive experience in global procurement within a Fortune 500-level operations background, with a dedicated focus on managing corrugated packaging materials.
Strong knowledge of industrial packaging specifications, global catalog deployment, guided buying systems, and Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) or consignment stocking strategies.
Proven ability in advanced financial modeling, total cost of ownership analysis, and complex multi-regional commercial contract structuring.
Full professional proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus for coordinating with global suppliers and regional stakeholders.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with experience.
Flexible work options to support work-life balance.
Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.
