We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and collaborative Global Marketing Specialist to support the execution of global marketing programs for qPCR instruments, consumables and workflows. This role will work closely with Global Market Development Managers to execute application-focused campaigns and tactical marketing activities that drive awareness, customer education, and demand generation for our real-time PCR (qPCR) instrument portfolio.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be highly focused on tactical implementation, project coordination, and delivering high-quality marketing assets and campaigns with minimal oversight. This role supports the global qPCR business units, regional marketing and commercial teams and reports to the Sr. Global Market Development Manager, qPCR/dPCR Instruments and Workflows.

This role is part of the Global Market Development team supporting the qPCR portfolio within the Genetic Sciences Division. The team is responsible for executing global marketing programs that generate awareness, drive demand, and enable commercial success across regions and customer segments including research, academia, biopharma, biotechnology, and applied markets.

This is a highly collaborative role, partnering closely with global marketing managers, regional marketing and commercial stakeholders to support campaign execution and drive business impact.

Location: Carlsbad, CA (minimum 4 days onsite)

This Role Makes an Impact

In this role, you will support the execution of qPCR application- and product-focused outbound marketing programs that educate customers on qPCR workflows and contribute to demand generation. You will play a key role in building marketing campaigns that support funnel growth, including lead generation and marketing-qualified opportunities (MQOs), by ensuring timely and high-quality execution of marketing tactics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute tactical marketing activities aligned to global marketing plans for qPCR instruments, consumables and workflows, supporting campaign delivery and business objectives

  • Support development and deployment of multi-channel outbound campaigns (digital, email, web, social, webinars, events) to drive awareness and engagement

  • Collaborate with Global Market Development Managers to implement application-focused marketing programs and workflow campaigns

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (creative services, agencies) to develop and deliver marketing assets, including brochures, web content, emails, videos, webinars, and sales tools

  • Assist in execution of demand generation programs that contribute to lead generation, MQOs, and pipeline growth

  • Support new product introductions (NPIs) through execution of launch deliverables and marketing materials

  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics, supporting analysis of KPIs such as engagement, leads, and pipeline contribution

  • Maintain and update marketing content and digital assets, including web pages and campaign materials

  • Collaborate with Product Management to ensure messaging and value propositions are accurately reflected in marketing materials

  • Support customer engagement activities, including webinars, events, and application-focused campaigns

  • Assist in coordination of sales enablement materials and marketing tools for commercial teams

  • Support budget tracking and project timelines to ensure efficient execution of marketing programs

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, or related roles within life sciences, biotechnology, or diagnostics

  • Experience supporting marketing campaign execution and content development

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to execute with accuracy

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (web, email, social, SEO/SEM) and performance metrics

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, global environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related life science field; alternatively, a degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications with relevant industry experience

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, or analytics platforms

  • Experience developing technical or scientific marketing content

  • Understanding of marketing funnels and demand generation concepts

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00-$115,000.00.
