Seeking a detail-oriented Global Logistics & Customs Specialist to manage U.S.-centric import/export operations in the aerospace and defense sector.
- Coordinate global multi-modal shipments, ensuring compliance with DOT, TSA, IATA, and customs regulations.
- Manage U.S. import/export procedures, including HTSUS classification, valuation, and licensing under ITAR/EAR.
- Oversee export controls, restricted party screening, and export licensing processes.
- Handle ACE filings, CBP audits, and special procedures like ATA Carnets and Temporary Importations.
- Maintain trade data, track KPI performance, and ensure audit readiness.
- Require 5+ years of experience in U.S. aerospace/defense logistics, with expert knowledge of customs processes and export controls.
- Proficiency in ERP, Excel, and certifications like Licensed Customs Broker highly preferred.
The role is based in Tampa, FL, with 25% travel, supporting mission-critical programs while ensuring regulatory compliance.
