The ideal candidate will own strategic sourcing and commodity management of Optical and Copackaged Optics technologies in the Boards and Systems Supply Chain Group. This position develops, directs, and influences global sourcing and commodity strategies that deliver significant value in the supply chain through sourcing strategies, supply assurance, component quality, and gross margin improvements.

What we need to see:
BS in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. MBA Preferred.
12+ years' experience in global commodity management and proven track record in managing optics, and optical technology Supply Base.
Deep understanding of lasers and active optical components, and copackaged optics technologies, market, manufacturing process, cost drivers and supply landscape.
Ability to be innovative with issues related to strategic sourcing, supplier relations, and supplier performance measurement systems.
Strong analytical skills such as cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection, and supply/demand analysis.
Ability to incorporate AI tools to improve supply chain and sourcing analysis, data integrity, and decision making.
Excellent negotiation and leadership skills in supplier management and contract negotiation.
Excellent communication and influencing skills dealing with supply base executives.
High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail in a collaborative environment.
Technical experience to compliment strong program management skills is preferred.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
