ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you'll focus on strategically sourcing and managing technical commodities; including machined parts, optics, harnessing, valves, motors, and batteries; while driving hardware delivery through the full product life cycle at the right quality, cost, and schedule.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and negotiate agreements and statements of work
- Drive hardware delivery from requirements development through on-dock delivery
- Analyze industry trends to reduce cost, mitigate supply chain risks, and protect continuity of supply
- Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
- Evaluate and monitor critical supplier performance including financial health, quality, and on-time delivery
- Ensure orders are released and on schedule to meet production system needs
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- 4+ years of strategic sourcing experience including vendor negotiations and global contract management
- Experience managing technical commodities such as machined parts, optics, wire harnesses, valves, or motors
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Python
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
NICE TO HAVES
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience using multiple ERP or equivalent procurement tools
