CFA Institute | Glean Business Product Analyst | June 2026
Glean Business Product Analyst
Contract Role • 12 Months -18 months • Start: ASAP
Bill Rate: $60-$80/hr.

AT A GLANCE
Client: CFA Institute
Hiring Manager: Madison Faiella, Director — AI Product Strategy & Governance
Role Type: Contract (SOW pending)
Location: EMEA Remote (Madison based in York, SC)

About the Role
CFA Institute is deploying Glean — an AI-powered enterprise knowledge search platform — across its
organization, and is also in early-stage development of "Ask CFA,” an internal AI platform designed to serve
9–12 business units. Madison Faiella, Director of AI Product Strategy & Governance, is building her team
from the ground up and needs an experienced Business Product Analyst to be embedded directly on her
team.
This is a net-new role. The analyst will serve as the primary analytical and stakeholder-facing resource,
working closely with Madison (and Paul) to gather requirements, document business needs, and support both
the Glean deployment and the Ask CFA initiative.

Recruiter Note: Madison will be on leave from approximately early August through end of
November 2026. This impacts daily management during that period. Candidates should be briefed on
this and should demonstrate strong self-direction. A separate leave backfill role will be sourced
separately.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Once ramped, this person will:
Interface with 9–12 internal CFA business units to gather, document, and translate requirements into product
or technical specifications
Support the Glean platform deployment — tracking adoption, usage metrics, and stakeholder feedback
Contribute to the Ask CFA AI initiative, which is currently in early requirements-definition phase
Context-switch fluidly between different teams and stakeholders, adapting communication style to each
business unit's needs
Work directly with Madison Faiella and Paul day-to-day, supporting roadmap components and deliverables
Produce documentation such as BRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint-based delivery cycles
Potentially interface with the Glean vendor team directly as the platform rollout progresses

Key culture fit: Madison was explicit that being good with people and skilled at context-switching
between different stakeholders' needs matters more than any specific industry background. This person
sits across many parts of the business — adaptability and interpersonal skills are non-negotiable.
