GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking a Geographic Information Systems Technician in Cheyenne, WY. The primary responsibilities of this position are to update, maintain and standardize authoritative geospatial data; produce maps involved in the signage of Commission-managed lands; support Department end-users; configure web maps and applications; and complete metadata and workflow documentation.

PREFERENCES:
Preference is given for any combination of training and experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree in GIS (Geographic
Information Systems), Geography, Geospatial Technologies, or a related field.
Preference will be given to applicants with training and/or experience in applying GIS principles in a working or learning environment using Esris suite of geospatial solutions, including ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Online, and mobile application solutions.
