Job Summary

The Girls Wrestling - Varsity Assistant Coach leads the team they are assigned to, promotes student-athlete growth and sportsmanship, and ensures compliance with District, league, CIF, and applicable state requirements. Unlike an Assistant Coach, incumbents are responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for parent communications and concerns related to their team. Unlike a Varsity Head Coach, incumbents do not oversee the entire program, supervise other coaching staff, or resolve escalated parent complaints involving program-wide or multi-team issues.

CPR and First Aid certification Concussion certification/training Sudden Cardiac Arrest training Heat illness prevention training Fundamentals of Coaching or equivalent approved training TB clearance Fingerprint/background clearance Any other certifications, trainings, or clearances required by law, CIF, or District policy
