The Whitefish Bay High School Swim & Dive Team is seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, and energetic Assistant Swim Coach to join our coaching staff. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Co-Head Coaches to facilitate daily practices, provide technical feedback to swimmers, attend swim meets, and contribute to the overall success and development of the swim team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior swimming or coaching experience to help shape and inspire high school swimmers, from beginners to experienced athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Daily Practices:
Opportunity to help plan and execute swim practices, focusing on technique, conditioning, and race preparation.
Provide individualized feedback and guidance on stroke technique and race strategy.
Ensure a safe and productive environment for all swimmers.
Attend Swim Meets:
Travel with the team to swim meets and support swimmers during competitions.
Provide in-the-moment feedback to athletes on race performance, offering positive reinforcement and constructive criticism.
