Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Annual Programs, this role entails efficiently handling gift reporting; and acting as a liaison between various entities, including campus departments, Weill School of Veterinary Medicine (WSVM) departments, the Office of the Treasurer of The Regents, and UC Davis Foundation. Manages and oversees gift processing activities for WSVM, ensuring gifts and donor records are accurate, compliant, and processed in a timely manner while coordinating with internal departments, Advancement Services, and external donors. Responsible for data integrity entered into multiple processing platforms and providing timely stewardship correspondence for gifts received. Provides donor stewardship and customer service by responding to inquiries, preparing reports and acknowledgments, tracking pledges, and ensuring donor intent is properly applied to designated funds. Independently analyzes financial and gift-related information, resolves discrepancies, maintains operational procedures, coordinates tasks with student assistants, and serves as a liaison to support effective gift administration and stewardship activities. Manage heavy workloads, frequent interactions with the public and internal stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring all activities align with Office of University Development policies and standards. Execute cultivation and stewardship communication strategies that target estate donors/prospects. In this role, you are expected to be present at the office during regular business hours. This position offers stability, in-person interaction, and a structured work environment.
