Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii, located in Honolulu, is looking for PRN GI Technician/Medical Assistant to join our amazing and growing team.

What You Will Do:  (Job Summary): 

As a GI Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.

Monday-Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needs

NO call required, NO Nights

Ability to float to other centers with added compensation

 

The pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech is a plus.
  • Patient care experience required in acute or critical care setting.   We will train on GI/Endoscopy procedures.
  • Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques is plus.  
  • Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA (or ability to obtain)
