This job description is intended to outline the most common activities to be performed but could include other duties as assigned.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for driving COCC vehicle to from and during field trips.Assist in leading student groups in field activities in related subject area.Ensure compliance with safety procedures.Perform other duties as assigned as it relates to the purpose of the position.Department SpecificKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesIndividuals must possess these knowledge skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the duties and responsibilities of the job with or without reasonable accommodation using some other combination of skills and abilities. Work may be performed in an ordinary office or outdoor setting. While performing the duties of this position the employee is required to function effectively in an outdoor environment engaged in work of primarily a physical nature with the ability to move in potentially challenging environments for extended periods. The employee is regularly required to drive a large passenger van in a safe manner which may involve sitting for many hours.
