We are hiring a Generator Technician Level 3 to support our San Antonio operations. This is a senior-level field position for technicians with 5-10 years of hands-on generator experience. This role is not entry-level and is intended for professionals who already know the generator industry.
Work exclusively with generator systems - no unrelated HVAC or facilities work

Install, commission, service, and repair industrial and commercial generator systems
Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and load bank testing
Troubleshoot engines, alternators, wiring, switches, batteries, and controls
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures
Respond to service calls, startups, and emergency repairs
Accurately document service work and complete required paperwork
Work directly with customers in a professional, solutions-focused manner
Participate in a shared, scheduled on-call rotation
5-10 years of hands-on generator technician experience
Proven experience working for a generator service or installation company
Strong mechanical and electrical generator knowledge
Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair ability
Experience with ATS systems and load bank testing
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
High school diploma or GED
Ability to travel locally and work in demanding field environments
Experience with Cummins, Kohler, Generac, CAT, or similar industrial generators
Manufacturer certifications or EGSA certification
Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or critical-power facilities
