Generator Service Technician

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Generator Service Technicians for projects located in Pelham, AL.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:      

• Installation and maintenance of generators and automatic transfer switches
• Conduct site surveys and oversee quality control of all work performed
• Test and verify alarms and system functionality to ensure compliance with operational standard 
• Provide regular field updates to the operations manager as needed 

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record 
• Previous experience in an industrial service technician role is strong preferred 
• Must have basic to intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft office suite 
• Must be able to travel and stay overnight when needed 
• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs and comfortably climb ladders and stairs 
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant tech training or experience
