Here's the Role:

We are seeking an Optimization Analyst Lead to drive operational excellence across our generation fleet by improving reliability, efficiency, and safety performance. In this role, you will design and implement solutions that streamline operations, enhance system performance, and reduce costs. 

Guided by our values of integrity, respect, initiative, and service, you will play a key role in developing, documenting, and standardizing operating procedures, along with the training that brings them to life to ensure consistent execution in the field. A strong foundation in Human Performance principles will be essential in elevating our safety culture and enabling consistent, reliable operations. 

How You’ll Contribute:
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve plant reliability, efficiency, and safety. 
  • Monitor performance metrics and lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize generation output.
  • Lead pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with regulatory and company standards.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs that accelerate onboarding and ensure consistent performance across operations and maintenance teams.
  • Assess skill gaps and implement targeted, recurring, training to sustain proficiency and address critical tasks. 
How You’re Qualified:
  • Twelve or more years' experience in operations analysis, process improvement, project management, business systems analysis or financial analysis or relevant experience.
  • A degree in, business, economics, finance, computer science, information systems or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
How You’ll Stand Out:
  • Experience developing and training others on Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to build task specific training modules that elevate operational consistency and safety.
