Overview:

This position is responsible for the recruitment process, employee relations, performance management, employee counseling and training, and administering employee programs, which includes employee benefits programs. This position is one of the front line contacts for the Human Resources department and must be a professional representative of Leviton at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer generation, and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to support staffing needs, including sourcing and coordination with temporary staffing agencies as needed
  • Administer employee lifecycle actions, including transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management on trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Support the performance management process by providing guidance, feedback, and recommendations to management on employee evaluations and development
  • Partner with managers to proactively address employee relations matters, providing coaching and guidance on policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and best practices
  • Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of employee records and HR data
  • Conduct research and analysis on HR programs, policies, and initiatives, recommending enhancements or process improvements as appropriate
  • Collaborate with Corporate Human Resources to deliver and at times develop training programs and support the implementation of company-wide initiatives and employee programs at the location
  • Oversee office administrative functions and support general operational needs as required
Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations 
  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) 
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of integrity and professionalism
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •  Ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Copilot
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent in related field 
  • Experience Minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience is typically required 
Travel:
  • Minimal travel, such as, travel when appropriate to various HR related conferences and/or trainings
