Summary
As an Advanced Practice Provider with the General Surgery team, your practice includes, but is not limited to:
- Comprehensive health care assessment, diagnosis, initiation of appropriate care and treatment
- Continuous outcome monitoring of the general surgery patient population.
- Follow established protocols and collaborate with physicians
- Work independently in health care decisions.
- Establish a philosophy of patient and family-centered care in all patient care practices
- Primary focus of this role will be inpatient care with limited OR expectations
Schedule
- Work 7 days on and 7 days off (7am-5pm on the days worked)
- Rotating Holidays
- Compensated as a 1.0
Pay and Benefits
- Salary range: $118,913.60 - $153,795.20 per year
- Pay may be determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, knowledge, location, and internal equity
- Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate
- May be eligible for additional pay through bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Eligibility for Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- CPR certification is required
- Must be able to treat all ages
Preferred:
- Surgical experience preferred
- Previous experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is preferred but not required

- Melanoma surgery
- Excision of skin cancers, moles, cysts, fatty tumors, skin tags
- Removal of foreign bodies (example: splinters)
