General Superintendent - Ground Up Construction - $200k+

Our client is seeking a Senior Superintendent ready to step into a General Superintendent role within 12 months. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity overseeing ground-up design-build industrial projects across the Northeast.

With a team of ~40-50 employees, they specialize in industrial and warehouse projects while also delivering work in commercial, multifamily, and healthcare sectors. Known for their longstanding client relationships and repeat business, they continue to expand their footprint across multiple states.

Description

The General Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Lead field operations for ground-up, design-build industrial/warehouse projects
• Oversee multiple job sites across MA, NH, VT, NY, NJ, and PA
• Mentor and develop project teams, preparing for transition to General Superintendent
• Coordinate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Drive quality control and enforce company standards across all sites
• Utilize Procore for project tracking, documentation, and reporting
• Support operational leadership in preparation for Director-level succession

Profile

A successful General Superintendent - Ground Up Construction should have:

• 20+ years of construction experience, with strong superintendent background
• Proven success delivering ground-up design-build industrial or warehouse projects
• Ability and desire to step into a General Superintendent role in the near term
• Experience managing multiple projects and traveling across the Northeast region
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Must be based west of Boston (preferred) and willing to travel
