Midas Auto Service Experts in Fremont is looking for a hardworking General Service Technician to join our busy, full-service repair shop. You’ll receive hands-on experience, work with modern equipment, and have opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the company.


What You’ll Do

• Perform oil changes and routine preventive maintenance
  
  
• Complete fluid exchanges and filter replacements
  
  
• Conduct thorough vehicle safety and courtesy inspections
  
  
• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
  
  
• Perform four-wheel alignments and alignment inspections
  
  
• Test and replace batteries
  
  
• Replace bulbs, belts, hoses, and other maintenance items
  
  
• Accurately document completed services and inspection findings
  
  
• Assist experienced technicians with shop operations and repairs
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  
  
• Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality standards
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous automotive service experience is preferred
  
  
• Wheel-alignment experience is strongly preferred
  
  
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures and shop equipment
  
  
• Strong mechanical ability and willingness to learn
  
  
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  
  
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
  
  
• Ability to manage time and stay productive in a fast-paced shop
  
  
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  
  
• Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
