General Production/Machine Operator Details:
As a General Production/Machine Operator, you will be an integral part of our door manufacturing process. This position involves operating various production machines, assembling door components, conducting quality inspections, and preparing finished goods for shipment. You will contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while producing high-quality door products.
Operate a variety of small and large production machines safely and efficiently in the manufacturing of doors. Work effectively on the door assembly line, participating in the fabrication and building of door units. Conduct thorough quality inspections on all products to ensure they meet established company standards and specifications. Perform machining operations on doors in preparation for hardware installation. Execute material preparation duties, including cutting, sizing, and staging, and perform general material handling. Accurately stage and meticulously package finished products, ensuring they are ready for delivery. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times, strictly adhering to all prescribed safety rules and procedures.
Previous experience in commercial woodworking (e.g., doors, millwork, cabinets, furniture manufacturing). Prior experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse production environment. Demonstrated proficiency as a Machine Operator, with the ability to learn and adapt to new machinery quickly. Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and accurately use basic hand-held measuring tools, including a tape measure.
Able to use tape measure. Previous experience in warehouse. Applicant may be subject to a background check. A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
