The General Manager (GM) oversees all membership, fitness, and operational functions to achieve financial success and deliver an excellent member and team experience.
- Staffing & Development:
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a diverse team; conduct performance reviews; provide ongoing coaching and career growth opportunities; foster positive work environments.
- Sales & Results:
- Drive membership lead generation, appointment setting, and sales targets; ensure team performance meets monthly goals; personally contribute to membership sales and revenue.
- Planning:
- Contribute to financial and operational planning; develop monthly plans to meet financial and retention goals; monitor results and identify improvement opportunities.
- Member & Team Experience:
- Cultivate a safe, engaging, community-focused gym culture; ensure high member satisfaction; address member concerns promptly; oversee gym appearance and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS include management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and relevant certifications. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. The role requires 2-3 years of supervisory experience and 3-5 years of sales experience.
