Marco's Pizza is looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our restaurant team. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, building a strong team culture, delivering excellent guest service, and driving sales and profitability.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, maintaining high operational standards, and creating a great experience for both guests and team members.
Manage all aspects of restaurant operations
Supervise and support team members during shifts
Ensure fast, accurate preparation of guest orders
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
Monitor weekly sales goals and service times
Review Profit & Loss statements and identify opportunities to improve performance
Control food cost through proper inventory management
Manage labor through effective scheduling and forecasting
Ensure every guest receives a 5-Star experience
Respond to and resolve guest concerns professionally
Maintain consistent food quality and service standards
Recruit, interview, and hire team members
Train and coach employees on Marco's procedures and service standards
Foster a positive and motivating workplace culture
Develop employees for advancement opportunities
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Protect company assets including cash handling
Maintain accurate data in POS and operational systems
At least 1 year of restaurant management experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver's license
ServSafe certification
Experience working with the Marco's Pizza system
Completion of Marco's training programs including Leadership Track or Certified Trainer
Leadership and team development
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
