Barrio Portsmouth is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on General Manager to lead our high-volume restaurant and bar operation.
This is not a desk job. We are looking for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspires teams, drives sales, and delivers exceptional guest experiences every day.
What You’ll Do:
Lead all daily restaurant operations
Recruit, train, develop, and retain top talent
Drive sales and profitability
Manage labor, food, beverage, and operating costs
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, and food quality
Create a positive, high-energy culture for employees and guests
Execute promotions, events, and community involvement initiatives
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and hospitality
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years General Manager experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Proven success managing P&L performance
Passion for hospitality and guest experience
Ability to lead from the floor and work alongside the team
Experience with bar operations and beverage programs preferred
