A growing steel and coating company in Cofield, NC is hiring a General Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity overseeing 80 employees.
Responsibilities:
- General Manager will direct and coordinate activities of the organization, administering policies, procedures, and business objectives
- Manager will revamp and revise operations, implementing process improvements
- Manager will oversee warehouse, manufacturing and logistics operations
- Manager will review production and operating reports, resolving operations, logistics, and facility issues to ensure minimum costs and improve delivery times
- Manager will analyze costs and forecast data
- Manager will review and prepare budgets, financial reporting, budgetary planning for capital expenditures
- Manager will manage material requirements improving inventory and stock levels
Requirements:
- Candidates must have extensive Management experience in Distribution environments
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of budgetary planning and production planning
- Candidates must have a lean manufacturing, process and continuous improvement mindset
- Candidates with a steel manufacturing or heavy industrial distribution background a plus
