What You'll Own
As the General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the restaurant's people, operations, guest experience, and financial performance.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop restaurant team members and managers
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest-focused service
- Create meaningful development plans and performance goals for employees
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching conversations, and corrective action when necessary
- Recognize and celebrate team achievements and successes
Operations Management
- Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and brand standards are consistently executed
- Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality
- Conduct restaurant inspections, audits, and quality reviews
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Financial & Business Performance
- Manage restaurant profitability and overall P&L performance
- Control labor, food costs, inventory, and operating expenses
- Oversee purchasing, ordering, and inventory management
- Complete payroll, reporting, accounts payable, and administrative responsibilities accurately and on time
- Drive sales growth and operational efficiency
Guest Experience
- Create an environment that delivers exceptional guest satisfaction
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding service and hospitality
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience
- Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience preferred
- Strong understanding of P&L management and financial performance
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills
- Strong computer proficiency and administrative capabilities
- Ability to multitask and make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated leader with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
- High-volume full-service restaurant experience
- Multi-unit exposure or leadership development experience
- Experience driving operational improvements and profitability
- ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
